Live visuals for techno nights. Since 2018.
Live visuals since February 2018.
I VJ minimal / rominimal techno nights, mixing visuals live across a booth projector and an edge-blended panorama.
Every night gets its own look, taken from its flyer: the palette, the type, the textures, run through a xerox / zine grade.
Nights and rooms, recorded as they happened.
3D and type studies from the early years.
Controllers and small embedded gadgets I build myself.
Alongside the software, I breadboard my own controllers — Arduino boards wired to knobs, buttons and screens — and hook them into the visuals.
AI-assisted prep, so the night itself can stay about the room.
The flyer sets the palette, the type and the mood of the night.
Recorded sets are analysed for their shape: where the energy builds, where the music changes character, which moods keep coming back.
A ready Resolume Arena composition for the night: footage graded in the flyer’s look, a name ident for every act, one deck per act.
The tools behind this are my own: a builder that turns the flyer into the night’s Resolume composition, and an analysis pipeline that learns how sets are shaped. The analysis is the part I find most interesting. It gets sharper with every night I record.
Visuals for your night.
